Making Decisions

How will you know if your decision is RIGHT or WRONG? It’s interesting that you never really know whether a decision is the right or wrong one until you’ve made it. Until you’ve had to stand in front of someone and defend your decision, their questions and reactions.

Looking back, there are four things that confirmed leaving my job was the right decision for me:

  • Looking around me – the most successful people I know have turned away secure job opportunities, taken risks and created their own opportunities
  • Reaction from colleagues, mentors and friends – I was motivated by the support and encouragement they gave me
  • Feeling buzzing with nervous excitement and responsibility
  • I was offered a job in another company with a decent salary

"Be bold and courageous. When you look back on your life, you'll regret the things you didn't do more than the ones you did."
