Lake District

Big Blog Exchange - Kisty Mea

The Lake District is England's largest national park, and the second largest in the UK. We have a lot of parks in Singapore but they're not quite like the ones I've seen today. I feel like I was inside a medieval-themed movie like Stardust and Lord of the Rings; it was really a majestic view.

One of my to-do list was to capture photographs of the countryside scenery and the Mountain Goat Tour made that possible. YHA booked me for the Ten Lakes Spectacular, which covers the north and south of the district. We spent most of our days inside the coach, but we made several stopovers to take photos of the view at NO COST.  I've tried different tours before and whenever we stop by a certain landmark, there's always someone (usually one of the tour's staff) who will approach us to take our photos and later on sell it to us. At least here, no one is going to pester you.

P.S., I'd like to thank the weather for cooperating. It was raining this morning but by the time we reached our first tour stopover, the sun was out and stayed there until it was time to go home. :)
