I am delighted to be Patron of Team Right To Play. Right To Play's growing network of supporters who run, walk, swim and cycle thousands of kilometres every year to support their work. Right To Play uses the the power of sport and play to transform the lives of disadvantaged children in some of the world's poorest communities.
1,000,000 children every week take part in their play-based educational programs which I think is amazing!
Every day I witness the positive impact sport has on people's lives, it's completely changed mine! I'm really passionate about this cause and feel honoured to partner with Right To Play. News announced here.
My role as Patron of Team Right To Play is to inspire more people to take part in Right To Play's challenge events, which include the London Triathlon and the Royal Parks Half Marathon, and make a difference to children's lives around the world. Watch this space, I will be inviting you to join me!
I will be raising funds and awareness for Right To Play throughout all the challenges and adventures I have lined up for 2016 and beyond, we well as being an Ambassador for the charity and supporting the fantastic work they do. Click here to support my fundraising goal.
This short video explains more about their work. Any questions or suggestions about how you can get involved, I'd love to hear from you.
