Building and Sleeping in a Snow Cave

Building and Sleeping in a Snow Cave

“Do you ever question your sanity?” I ask Andy as I stop digging momentarily to assess our progress. We have been digging for three hours, the daylight is fading fast and it feels like I have barely made a dent in the snow pack. At this rate, I'm worried we will still be digging come midnight. “Just keep going” Andy replies, “it will all come together soon, you’ll see.”

A Family 'Escape the City' Adventure

A Family 'Escape the City' Adventure

It’s 5:30am on a freezing cold Saturday morning in early January, and I’m driving a people carrier full of my favourite people out of London and in search of adventure. “Is it too early for this?” I ask, as I put one of my favourite songs on the car stereo. It’s a dance floor filler kind of song, but they love it. In the car with me I have four of my female cousins; Martha aged 9, Ella age 14, Georgia age 17, and Alex age 25. All of them said YES to waking up in - what felt like - the middle of the night and coming on an adventure with me. I love it when people say yes.

Get Stoked: Winter Is Coming!

Get Stoked: Winter Is Coming!

With December on the horizon and the feel of this crisp Autumn air, my thoughts drift to the mountains and my brain whirrs with the lure of winter adventures.

I’ve lived in London all my life, but a few years ago I decided to quit my job and move to Chamonix, in the heart of the French Alps. A place that had truly captured my heart and adventurous soul over previous years.

Whilst living in Cham, with the mountains on my doorstep, I had the opportunity to learn new sports and today I want to share with you my favourite winter adventures.

The 3 C's: Cause, Champion, Change

The 3 C's: Cause, Champion, Change

We live in a world where social media activity is at an all time high. Every person can build their own platform and market their beliefs, activities and products. In this fast paced, content driven world, I believe that what we stand for and why, is going to become more and more important to help people sift through the noise.

In January it will be four years since I quit my job and set out to forge a new path. I started with a blank piece of paper and four colouring pens. I had no idea what I wanted to do, or how my dreams were going to manifest themselves. But if you asked me what it was that I believed in, what I wanted to focus on, build something around, and to champion in this world. I knew.

The 'ONE LIFE, LIVE IT' Documentary

The 'ONE LIFE, LIVE IT' Documentary

When I quit my job almost four years ago, I had no idea what I wanted to do next. All I knew was that if I wanted to create a new path, I had to take that leap of faith figure out the next steps. I had many, many dreams and I had spent eight years behind a computer screen working in the city of London, dreaming about all the things I'd love to do. I didn't want those dreams to stay dreams, forever locked away in my 'one day' folder. Today I am excited to share with you my first documentary 'One Life Live It.

The Quest for Connection

The Quest for Connection

True connection, acceptance, and peace in exactly where we are is such a rarity, that when it happens I want to hold my breath and stay in the moment forever.

I close my eyes, drift away and survey the scene. I take in everything with a deep breath; what it feels like, where I am, who I’m with, or the feeling of being on my own. I remember the colour of the sky and the way the sun feels on my skin. I remember how open or closed I feel. I recall my journey to this moment, replaying all the million things that fell into place to get me here.

I imprint what I see and feel into my mind and my heart, almost with this idea that if I press hard enough, I can keep part of this moment with me forever. I lock these memories away like the most precious of gems, because that’s their worth to me.

While You Were Sleeping

While You Were Sleeping

Three years ago I quit the rat race in search of creating a new story. I dared myself to believe there was a way to live a more adventurous life, to fill my days with the things that feed my soul and people that lift me higher. I dreamed of travelling, of being an explorer in every sense of the word, and spending more time in nature.
