Powering a Non-Stop Lifestyle

Energy management is one of the biggest challenges we face on a daily basis. I often get asked “How do you maintain the energy to do everything?” No two days are the same for me. Without any consistency or routine, I have to do the best I can to stay on top of everything and deliver at the level I want to.

I run two businesses, exercise most days, travel away from home for roughly two weeks of every month, create content for my social media accounts that reach 1.2 million people every month, and often put myself through gruelling physical challenges. Having the physical and mental capacity to deliver is my top priority!

I don't always get it right and I'm learning every day, but I’ve teamed up with Naked Juice to share my natural boost that can be a game-changer when it comes to powering my non-stop lifestyle.

Personally, I think I have the best job in the world. What I mean is, that for me, this is the best job ever. Rightly so because I hand crafted every single aspect of it! How cool is that? (And btw, I 100% believe you can do it too, there is nothing I did that you can’t do in your own way)

I crafted it out of everything I didn’t like about my life until that moment in January 2013 when I quit and started Challenge Sophie, and around everything I love.  Most importantly, my life, my work, my mission, all of it is based around the messages I believe in and champion, and the change I want to create in the world.

The big question is, how do we fit it all in and how do we give ourselves that physical and mental nudge to consistently deliver?

My secret weapon is music! Music is one of the simplest and most effective ways to instantly change my mood. Can be really powerful!

In my short film, you’ll see me getting ready in the morning and the effect listening to music has on my mood, getting me totally pumped for the day ahead.

An average day for me whilst at home in London is non-stop from 6am in the morning, often working late into the evening. The weekends don't mean I'm off duty, instead I fit time off around my schedule and every few months take a few days and go off grid. Even then, I’m usually thinking, talking or brainstorming my next move.

One other secret to share with you, is that I am not a coffee or tea drinker. I have never been into either, so I don’t know what it feels like to have a caffeine boost. I have to find my boosts from other places and I often look to music, juice, or energy balls to help me.

The juice that features in my film is the Naked* Blue Machine. I remember once reading that blueberries are often called ‘brainberries’ because they help us focus and think with clarity. I'll take that!  I would never advocate a brand or product that I didn’t believe in and use, so I am thrilled with the opportunity to work with Naked.

Love to hear about the ways you boost your energy and make sure you’ve got what you need to power your lifestyle and it's many demands.
