The Vertical KM - Chamonix

It's 5:38pm on the evening of Friday 26th June. Calves screaming, sweat dripping, lungs pumping and my pain face well and truly locked in, I've just passed the 400m mark on Chamonix's Vertical KM race and it's hurting like hell. I'm seriously starting to question my sanity.

Do what you love and the money will come

Last summer I felt lost. I met all kinds of people and spoke to them about all kinds of opportunities. I was worried about money and how to put together my career to date, with my loose ideas of where I wanted to be in the future.

In 20 days I've cycled 1155kms with over 15,300 metres ascent through 7 countries. Charley and I have climbed to the summits of the highest mountains in 5 countries, with over 15,000 metres of ascent and have been on the go for between 8-12 hours a day, every day apart from 2 rest days.
